Summer is halfway over!

Can't believe it's already July 30th! Where does time go? Have managed to keep ourselves too busy, as usual, with a little time to enjoy the great outdoors.

We celebrated Wade turning the big 4-0 last month with a tiki party--grass skirts, leis and island-inspired food all included! Jason and Travis (Wade's bro) flew in from Oregon to help him say "cheers to 40 years!" and we had neighbors, friends, and other family to help celebrate as well.

A few weeks ago we spent a week exploring Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park and Moab. HOT, HOT, HOT! July is probably not the best time to spend in southern Utah, but it was fun and we hope to go back soon in some cooler weather. We rented a jeep in Moab and went rock climbing, although, Micelle admits--she was a chicken and got out of the jeeb in some places. Hey, somebody had to take a picture, right?!

Next month we are off to Montana and Idaho again for a few weeks. Besides visiting with family, we are going to spend a few days up at Glacier National Park.

Ciao, for now!

Live from Arizona!

Well, now we are officially bloggers!

Not much new in our neck of the woods. Micelle is busy with work, work, work and trying to have somewhat of a social life in between. Two of her good friends have moved away from Prescott Valley, recently--one to Phoenix and one to Colorado--so she is spending a bit more time with some of the girls from work. However, she certainly doesn't mind staying home and chillin' with her peeps! Wade, George, Chloe and Joey make good company. :) She is also incredibly grateful to have a good, secure nursing position in the current economy!

Wade has started looking into new career options, what with the housing market being so slow. He is taking a class at the college this semester that is beneficial to people who have been out of school for some time, and who would like get into a healthcare profession. He has decided to apply for nursing school sometime in the near future, but needs to get some of his prerequisite classes out of the way. He says that the good thing about college this time around is that he is actually enjoying it!
